Chris hates the industrial ag model that politicians, agri-business corporations, and organizations like the Farm Bureau have forced farmers to adopt to survive. We Iowans need to demand change - and cleaner water.
Thank you, Larry. Chris Jones and countless other Iowans are rightfully frustrated because they cannot safely use the waters of this state — which belong to them, too, and not just to the owners of livestock confinement facilities — because our state government is ignoring the water quality issues.
Every Iowan needs to read this column. We’ve got to have clean air & water and healthy soil. It’s high time to require and enforce that. Let’s get with it.
